Helping dental practice owners and Office Managers create structure, accountability, and sustainable growth.
Why I Do This
I know what it feels like to carry the weight of a dental practice while trying to keep the schedule full, the team aligned, and the daily chaos under control. I am passionate about helping Office Managers grow into confident, capable leaders because I understand the challenges they face every day. Too many talented professionals find themselves overwhelmed by competing priorities, constant interruptions, and a lack of clear systems. Through leadership development, accountability, and practical operational strategies, I help create structure where there is chaos and clarity where there is uncertainty. My mission is to provide direction, practical tools, and accountability that transform overwhelm into clarity and chaos into calm.
My Journey
My career in dentistry began in Roseville, California, although my connection to dentistry started much earlier. As a child, I was terrified of going to the dentist. Ironically, that fear eventually led me to discover a profession and industry that I would come to love. I originally planned to become a physician, but life had other plans. An opportunity in the front office of a private dental practice introduced me to a profession that combined leadership, service, strategy, and patient care. It was love at first sight. Over the years, I immersed myself in every aspect of practice operations, from the clinical back office to front office systems, insurance, scheduling, team development, leadership, and business strategy.
Leadership Through Experience
My experience spans practices of all sizes—from a single-doctor office with one hygienist to a multi-provider practice with multiple hygienists, assistants, and a large business team. The most rewarding season of my career was leading an exceptional team in a multi-million-dollar dental practice. We experienced significant growth, overcame challenges, embraced technology, and built systems that allowed the practice and team to thrive. Those experiences shaped one of my core philosophies: Generosity With Structure Becomes Leadership. People don't care how much you know until they know how much you care. Leadership requires both. Encouragement without structure creates confusion. Structure without encouragement creates frustration. Sustainable leadership requires both.
Today
Today, I help dental practice owners and Office Managers develop the leadership skills, systems, and accountability needed to create healthier teams, stronger cultures, and more successful practices. Because when leadership becomes intentional, calm replaces chaos and growth becomes possible.
The Compass Philosophy
I believe every dental practice deserves strong leadership, clear direction, and systems that support both the team and the patients they serve. My role is not to carry the practice—it is to help leaders develop the confidence, structure, and accountability needed to guide it successfully.
A compass does not carry the travelers. It provides direction.
Whether I'm coaching a practice owner, mentoring an Office Manager, or leading a team through change, my goal remains the same: to help create calm where there is chaos, clarity where there is confusion, and sustainable growth that lasts long after the consulting engagement ends.
